Most Anticipated Books // New Releases in May 2019

April is already over and it’s time for my most anticipated May releases! I don’t think my list has ever been this short (only three books? What’s going on?) but these are highly anticipated books of mine. Like, really. Probably some of my most anticipated reads of 2019. Please don’t disappoint.

Cover Comparison // Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom

As a book blogger who reads primarily books in English but lives in Germany, I am confronted by both English and German book covers. I always thought it weird that different countries choose different covers, especially because of the tendency of German books being uglier (P.S. one of the reasons why I started reading in English).

I totally judge a book by its cover and I am a sucker for pretty books. And I am regularly tempted to buy books in languages I don’t understand because the covers are just so gorgeous.

To stifle that urge a bit, I decided to start a new blog series called “Cover Comparison”, where I can swoon over foreign covers together with you. Maybe that’s going to satisfy my book addiction (or it’s going to make it worse, who knows).

This post’s subject is Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows duology, which I love with all of my heart.
